Full-time staff position: Executive Director

Friends of Clayoquot Sound, an environmental non-profit, is seeking a qualified person for the newly created position of Executive Director.
Reporting to the Board of Directors and working with a small hard working staff, this is an exceptional opportunity for a flexible, progressive individual to provide strategic leadership as our organization works to secure a conservation future for Clayoquot Sound.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership, organizational, and media skills, experience in developing operational and strategic plans, and a background in interacting with First Nations and governments.
The Executive Director will manage staff and oversee planning, implementation and evaluation of environmental campaigns. Budget preparation and fundraising from individual donors and foundations are essential responsibilities.
This position is located in beautiful Tofino, BC.
