Iisaak Logging of Catface Mountain, 2000 |

One of 53 "patch cuts" (small clearcuts),
ranging in size from .1 hectare to one hectare, logged Fall 2000 by
Iisaak Forest Resources on Catface Mountain. A helicopter landing platform
is visible in lower centre of patch cut. No new roads were built - fallers
were flown in and logs were lifted out by helicopter to nearby existing
roads. Iisaak cut a total of 10,000 cubic meters on Catface (300 logging
truck loads). |
